Brand Naming
Bedo is Arabic word for Nomad. Nomadic life is very similar to the Bohemia lifestyle which takes on no permanent ties. Wanderers, adventurers, and vagabonds. Associates with a deep sense of freedom to explore different experiences and to keep moving. Bohemianism is commonly associated with creatives, literary types and other artists.
Visual Concept
“Mid-century modern” broadly describes architecture, furniture, and graphic design from the middle of the 20th century.
It is a current HOT aesthetic and retains a lot of the classic style we know and love.
From Mad Men, to SMEG, Mid-Century Modern is the elevated Retro style that is deeply rooted in the design culture coming out of the Bauhaus in Germany in a post-war world.
“I keep going to a lot of places and ending up somewhere I’ve already been.”
Don Draper MAD MEN
